It’s important to stay grounded in life because that’s what keeps us living in the moment and helps us stay connected to our authenticity. When we lose ourselves we are more easily affected by our emotions and the chaos that may surround us. Staying grounded helps us connect back to peace by enjoying the moment we are in. 

I wanted to share different journal prompts that will help you stay grounded through life.


Daily Check-Ins

  1. When did I connect to peace or joy today?

  2. How did I experience my work day & what major emotions came forward?

  3. On my daily walk what did I notice?

  4. What brought me motivation to move forward today?

  5. How do I feel in this moment?

  6. Where are my thoughts taking me?



Negative Mindset and Stress Taking Over

  1. What brought these negative emotions forward?

  2. Where do I feel the stress and tension and how can I release it?

  3. When I feel (negative emotion) how do I react?

  4. Is this stress worth my time & energy? Why?

  5. How can I step back into a positive mindset?

Connect to My Authentic Self

  1. What brings me peace?

  2. When do I feel joyous?

  3. What am I passionate about in life?

  4. How do I wish to serve myself in life?

  5. Where do I wish to grow?

  6. How have I healed in the past?

  7. What life lessons have a recently learned?


Weekly Check-Ins

  1. What day did I experience the most challenges & how did that make me feel?

  2. How did I move forward after a particularly hard day?

  3. What day did I experience the most joy & peace and how did that make me feel?

  4. Which emotion sticks out from this week? Where did it develop from?

  5. Did I make any changes this week to myself, my mindset or my life? How does that make me feel?

  6. What self-love practices did I do this week?

  7. What lessons did I learn this week?

  8. How much time did I spend in nature? How was I affected by this?


These journal prompts will help you to reflect back on yourself as you move through each day. This will help you to stay grounded by experiencing each moment and staying true to yourself.
