A glimpse into who I am...

When I was 10 years old I started going to sleep away camp and truly experiencing what the outdoors has to offer. Learning how to canoe and build a fire, building relationships and learning about teamwork, so many lessons learnt in those many summers at camp that helped shape and build me to who I am today.

Trust the wait.
Embrace the uncertainty.
Enjoy the beauty of becoming.
When nothing is certain, anything is possible.

I am a true lover of the outdoors. I enjoy adventures through the forest, as the trees make me feel most alive. I love travelling, being on the road and seeing new sights. I am a book worm, and enjoy picking up a new book and getting lost in each character's journey.

I have lived in a number of towns and a few different provinces across Canada. I like being on the road, and finding new places to adventure and travel, especially with my dog, Poseidon. Since I graduated university I moved 3 provinces west from my family to embark on a new adventure. In the 6 years since, I have lived in Canmore, AB; Ucluelet, BC; Calgary, AB; Revelstoke, BC; and I have lived out of my vehicle twice.

The first time I lived in my Toyota Corolla for 3 months before living with my cousins in Calgary, AB. This was in the summer of 2013 and I travelled around Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, and Interior British Columbia. This was the moment I completely fell in love with the province and the different regions it has. The second time I lived in my vehicle it was my Toyota RAV4 for 7 months before moving to Revelstoke, BC. On this journey I travelled to Arizona, USA, for the winter with my parents. We travelled around the state experiencing the desert and all it has to offer. I spent some time in Ontario visiting with family and friends before heading back west and landing in Revelstoke.

That brings us to the present.

I am experiencing all Revelstoke has to offer and trying to capture as much of my adventures as possible. Over the years I have enjoyed photography more and more, and I can't wait to hone in on my practice and really let it develop.

So this is me. I am an amateur photographer trying to capture my adventures through the great outdoors. Of course, with my dog Poseidon!
